Visitors are welcome!
Open for tours year round, and located conveniently off Interstate I89, we welcome you to visit our sugarhouse. Shop in our store, for maple syrup, sugar, cream and candy, all produced right here on the farm. Sample the four traditional grades of maple syrup, our infused flavors, maple cream, and Bourbon Barrel Aged maple syrup. Arrange for products to be shipped or take them home with you. Free of charge, and no reservation needed. Call 802-272-6249 if planning for a large group.
Our own Maple Creamees are available seasonally. See below for hours.
Step outside of the sugarhouse to see some of our maple trees and the saplines, learn about the history of our family sugaring operation, discover the mystery of the reverse osmosis, and see the wood fired evaporator where we boil down the sap from 27,000 trees. Boiling season is dependent on the weather, usually early March until mid April. This is the magical time to come, when you can see and smell the steam rising!
We take great pride in the stewardship of our sugarwoods, a natural resource that provides a healthy food, while taking carbon out of the atmosphere and putting it in the ground. The trees help cool the local climate and create moisture, filtering and storing huge amounts of water. Visitors are welcome to hike, snowshoe and ski through our sugarwoods. During sugaring you can watch the sap running, year round there are wildlife tracks, birds, wildflowers, and of course, the majestic maple trees to see.
