Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 cup butter
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups flour
Filling:
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts finely chopped
- 1 large egg well beaten
- 3/4 cup maple syrup I prefer Robust grade
- 1 Tablespoon butter melted
- pinch salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Crust: Cut ingredients together until a ball of dough forms. Make into balls the size of walnuts and press into cupcake tins to form a crust.Filling: Combine filling ingredients and fill each cup 1/3 full. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 250° and bake 10 minutes longer. Let cool and remove from tin.
